FIELD: blasting operations. SUBSTANCE: electronic delay circuit for use in detonator has a switching circuit and a timer circuit. The switching circuit controls the flow of accumulated charge of electric energy from the capacitor-accumulator to the shunt initiation element, for example, semiconductor shunt or tungsten shunt. The time count of release of this energy is controlled by the timer circuit. The switching circuit is an integral, dielectrically insulated circuit based on the bipolar CMOS structure (D1 Bi-CMOS), whereas the timer circuit is a CMOS circuit. The use of the D1 Bi-CMOS circuit facilitates a more effective transfer of energy from the capacitor-accumulator to the semiconductor shunt. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 25 cl, 4 dwg
