FIELD: manufacture of castings of chemically active and refractory metals, steels, nickel base alloys, mainly blades of gas-turbine engines.
SUBSTANCE: suspension contains, mass %: hydrolyzed ethyl silicate as binder, 20 -40; cast oxide material as filler prepared in mode of burning composition Al2 O3 /Cr2O 3 at content of Cr2O3 equal to 6 - 50 mass %. It is possible to use mixture of above mentioned oxide material with synthetic corundum, zirconium dioxide and (or) yttrium oxide taken in quantity no less than 10%. Method provides reduced grain size of castings until 0.1 -0.5 mm, reduced zone of interaction with melt until 0.01 - 0.05 mm, increased heat conductivity factor up to 30 - 55 Wt/mK.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of ceramic molds due to their increased bending strength, improved surface roughness of castings.
