APPARATUS FOR FEEDING WIRE WITH CONNECTOR Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: machine engineering, namely apparatus for feeding wire with connector suitable for supplying welding wire to cable-hose of welding torch.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes portion for feeding wire and connection portion. Carrying bracket of wire feeding portion and housing of connection portion are made as one-piece block of plastics material. Inlet opening of portion for feeding wire is arranged opposite relative to opening for wire inlet at inner side of connection portion; the last opening is arranged at lower side of recess for guiding wire. There is member for introducing wire inside inner opening. Wire motion path restricted by said two openings passes between feeding roller and pressure roller. Axle of pressure lever supporting pressure roller or axle of fixing lever is secured to inner end of housing of connection portion, preferably to lug. Axle of other lever is secured to protrusion of carrying bracket of wire feeding portion. Said protrusion is arranged opposite another protrusion in order to provide possibility of angular motion of levers. Such design prevents bending and skewing of wire.

EFFECT: improved design providing easy access to apparatus and to connector at repairing and adjustment.
