FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wheel has rim with flanges, central hub part, at least three pairs of spokes connecting rim with hub part with thickness and height increasing in direction of hub, part, and with side surfaces of each pair in form of like convex and concave surfaces pointed to each other and arranged in plane square to wheel axis and mating with each other and with surface of hub part through surfaces symmetrical relative to plane passing through wheel axis and bisector of angle between axes of adjacent spokes with radii of curvatures alternating in value. Said concave surfaces are mated with rim in points located on rim at distance from axis of spoke equal to 0.5-1.0 of its minimum thickness, and with hub part through points of contact with some of said mating surfaces. Said convex surfaces are mated with rim in points corresponding to minimum thickness of spoke, and with hub part through points of their contact with other said mating surfaces, values of alternating radii of curvature being determined by dependence.
EFFECT: reduced level of temperature stresses owing to optimization of spoke length, reduced weight of wheel at preservation of its strength.
