FIELD: transport engineering; wheels.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wheel includes rim with flanges, central hub part, at least three pairs of spokes connecting rim with hub part, with thickness and height of spokes increasing in direction of hub part, and with side surfaces of each pair in form of sections pointed to each other symmetrical relative to bisector of angle between axes of adjacent spokes. One of sections on one of surfaces of each said pairs is convex, and side surfaces of each pair are mated to each other and with surface of hub part through surfaces symmetrical relative to plane passing through axis of wheel and bisector of angle between adjacent spokes, with radii of curvature alternating in value. Each said side surface includes section limited in planes square to wheel axis by straight lines. Said straight lines are conjugated with rim in points located on rim at a distance from spoke axis equal to 0.4-1.0 of its minimum thickness at one of side surfaces of each pair of spokes opposite to surface with convex section, and they are conjugated with hub part through points of their contact with some of said mating surfaces.
EFFECT: reduced level of temperature stresses and weight of wheel at preservation of its strength owing to optimization of length of spoke.
