FIELD: railway transport; stationary flange lubricators.

SUBSTANCE: proposed track flange lubricator contains oil reservoir connected by first pipeline with lubricating member which is made flexible and installed in zone of wheelset flange from side of inner rails of curvilinear track section. Flange lubricator contains also additional lubricating reservoir. Said reservoir and oil reservoir are connected by second pipeline whose lower end is contact with lubricant and upper end is installed with clearance relative to top of oil reservoir. Additional smaller capacity reservoir is connected by third pipeline with first pipe line being installed so that oil level in reservoir coincides with oil level in tip of flexible lubricating member. Use of proposed track flange lubricator provides high quality of lubrication of rail track in its curvilinear sections owing to automatic delivery of lubricant into space between flange of wheelset and head of rail with train running in place where wheelset flange is not pressed to rail and level of lubricant in lubricating member is maintained constant.

EFFECT: improved lubrication of wheelset flange and rail.
