SUBSTANCE: lubrication device of flanges of wheel pairs of a rail transport vehicle includes a lubricant tank, an oil pipeline installed with an inclination from the tank to an element being lubricated, and a lubricating element in the form of a piece of a rubber pipe with a rod from solid lubricant (graphite, molybdenum disulphide), which is located inside the pipe .The lubricating element rod is spring-loaded to a lubricated flange of the wheel; its base is located in a shell that is installed in a hinged manner, with a possibility of being turned in the plane of the wheel rotation about the axis parallel to the axis of the wheel pair and coaxially to a nozzle of the supply oil pipeline, which is spring-loaded relative to the shell and installed with a possibility of longitudinal movement, with a possibility of opening and closing of the oil pipeline at the rotation and stop of the wheel of the transport vehicle respectively.

EFFECT: self-adjustment of lubricant supply, independence of control and elimination of oil influx to the wheel tread surface during parking of the transport vehicle.
