FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved method for preparing O,O-dialkyldithiophosphates that are used broadly as flotation agents in concentration of nonferrous, rare and precious metal ores. Invention describes a method for preparing O,O-dialkyldithiophosphates involving preparing O,O-dialkyldithiophosphoric acid by interaction of phosphorus pentasulfide with aliphatic alcohol in solvent medium followed by treatment with alkaline agent. O,O-dialkyldithiophosphoric acid is used as a solvent in the mass ratio of phosphorus pentasulfide and O,O-dialkyldithiophosphoric acid = 1:0.2, not less. Invention provides simplifying process, reducing waste in manufacture due to exclusion from technological process the additional using substances as a solvent not taking part in the main reactions, and enhanced yield of the end product.
