FIELD: wind-power engineering; rotary windmill-electric generating plants.
SUBSTANCE: proposed plant has two circular bladed rotors mounted one on top of other, linear generator in-between, and central pylon coupled with rotors. Blades of circular rotors are position so as to provide for opposing rotation of rotors. Upper rotor is coupled with central pylon by means of set of braces secured on outer ring of radial-thrust bearing and lower rotor is coupled with upper one by means of electromagnetic suspension and released wheel supports keeping vertical clearance between linear generator components. Upper rotor is provided with L-shaped brackets that carry brake straps to receive brake flange of lower rotor during disconnection of suspension electromagnets.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and effectiveness.
