FIELD: wind power engineering; rotary wind-driven power units.
SUBSTANCE: proposed unit is, essentially, wind-electric set assembled of more than one (three or more) isosceles triangles where lateral sides of each of them form tilted blade whose every horizontal section has hollow airfoil oriented along tangent to circle circumscribed by center of this airfoil when unit is running. Bases of triangles are disposed horizontally so that they are slightly elevated from ground and are interconnected. Planes of triangles are arranged so that triangle vertices are joined together by means of cross-members to form regular horizontal polygon. Pyramid formed by tilted blades and horizontal cross-members is mounted with its bottom part on flat steel ring through electricity conducting strap, this ring functioning as rotor of linear (arc) generator whose inductors are elastically secured together with vertical load relief electromagnets and vertical supports on several posts over perimeter of steel ring. Inductors are provided with cooling fans conveying hot air toward steel ring that also mounts, apart from blades, movable-shutters shroud used to receive hot air from fan and to pass it to inner spaces of blades. Vortices of bottom polygon are connected like bicycle wheel spiders to central bearing fitted onto short supporting shaft taking horizontal thrusts.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and operating effectiveness of unit under severe climatic conditions.
