FIELD: wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: blades secured at ends of cross-pieces K shift up and down relative to them. Upper and lower sections of rotor have low coefficient of shading, while center sections have doubled coefficient of shading as compared with upper and lower section It is known that at high coefficient of shading, orthogonal rotor acquire self-starting property but have lower power characteristics at light wind. According to invention, part of rotor has large shading, thus providing for self-starting and part of rotor has small shading, thus ensuring higher power at light wind. EFFECT: enhanced reliability due to introduction of tested breakable members in lower units of joints of blades and cross-pieces and tested breakable tubular insert in upper unit of attachment of stay ropes to upright. 3 cl, 4 dwg
