FIELD: medical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device is designed as pistol having applicator at rod end and system for measuring applicator temperature. The system for measuring applicator temperature has acting two-cascade thermoelectric unit and reference one connected to two-channel power supply source between which a copper rod temperature bridge is mounted. The applicator is manufactured as cone having polished tip surface of 3.5-4 mm large diameter to be pressed against cool junction of the acting two-cascade thermoelectric unit by screwing heat insulation envelope thereon. Canal is available in handle for supporting water circulation relative to needle radiator making contact to hot junction of reference two-cascade thermoelectric unit. The device has support member having cavity for introducing the rod and temperature pickup connected to power supply source.

EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in producing various temperature modes.
