FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in production of casts, e.g. gas turbine engine vanes flaps and the like. Proposed device comprises vertical vacuum chamber accommodating induction melting furnace, mould heating furnace, mould locating mechanism, shield, tank with liquid metal coolant separated from heating zone by expandable shield. Mould heating furnace incorporates two heaters of top and bottom zones and features rectangular shape in horizontal section. Mould heating furnace length-to-width ratio makes 1:(0.15÷0.4). Ratio between top zone heater height and that of bottom zone makes 1:(0.1÷0.16). Thermal shield from porous heat resistant material is arranged on the surface of liquid metal cooler. Shape and sizes of the tank top part correspond to those of mould heating furnace outer wall, while sizes of the tank bottom correspond to sizes of mould heating furnace inner wall.
EFFECT: higher quality of structure and finished products.
