FIELD: building, particularly for constructing structures for environmentally hazardous liquid materials, for instance oil and oil products.

SUBSTANCE: structure includes pit and reservoir with hazardous material to be stored arranged in pit. Reservoir is made as elastic water-proof bag. Pit walls and bottom are waterproofed. Pit has width L ≥ 4R and depth H ≥ 3R. Pit is filled with water up to H-h level, where h is unfilled pit part height. Volume of unfilled pit part exceeds reservoir capacity volume. Reservoir is floating in pit and spaced a distance from walls and bottom thereof. The distance is not less than reservoir radius R. Reservoir is connected to pit walls by flexible ties or netted system to provide control of reservoir location inside the pit.

EFFECT: improved protection against outer impacts and against material leakage to structure outside.
