FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing permanent internal allotendinous suture after excising skin flap by suturing upper cartilage edge through pierce in and out. One end of the suture is brought through soft tissues of lid upwards and outward through the first skin pierce in the upper boundary of brow. The suture is continued in parallel to the brow boundary through the same pierce and is brought through the second skin pierce. The second suture end is brought upward and out through the second skin pierce forming closed tetragonal contour. The sutures are tightened to achieve required lifting of the lid and tied retaining suture ends not shorter than 5 mm. Microsurgical suture is placed on skin cut.
EFFECT: uniform tightening load distribution; reduced risk of traumatic and inflammatory complications.
