FIELD: medicine; plastic surgery; cosmetology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for surgical removal of eyebrow ptosis. Marking is performed, a vector connecting a wing of a nose and an eyebrow fixation point is determined, along which an upward movement of the eyebrow is planned. Outlined lines are used to determine the height to which the eyebrow is to be displaced upward and temporally from the upper edge of the orbit or from the wing of the nose of the side where the brow lifting is to be performed, and these points are marked. On the operating table, marking is performed as in blepharoplasty taking into account the eyebrow elevation height. Periosteum is exposed through the formed incision on the upper eyelid. Tissues are cut off supraperiosteally to the middle of the frontal-temporal zone. Superciliary tissues are stitched in projection 1 mm above the hairy part of the eyebrow in the marking area. Further, a through skin incision is made 2 mm above the hairy part of the tail of the eyebrow; guide forceps 2 mm in size is inserted and a thread which has pierced the eyebrow tissue is brought out above the eyebrow. Further, the eyebrow is raised to the planned height along the vector connecting the wing of the nose and the point of eyebrow fixation. Then the periosteum is pierced through the formed incision, in which the thread is brought out with a guide needle, and the knot is tightened. Upper blepharoplasty is performed, and skin defects are glued in strips.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce traumatism and increase efficiency of eyebrow ptosis elimination due to separation of required area for eyebrow elevation and minimum exposure of periosteum.
