SEPARATOR LOADING UNIT Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: concentration of finely-dispersed mixtures; mining industry; concentration of iron-ore concentrates.

SUBSTANCE: proposed loading unit has housing and chute connected with bracket by means of vertical rod for performing vibrations. This chute is connected with vibrator by means of horizontal rod. Loading unit includes bin rigidly and detachably secured on inner wall of housing. Bracket is adjustable in length and is rigidly secured on housing before front wall of bin. Servo drive is rigidly and detachably secured on front wall of bin. Connected to working member of this servo drive is gate valve for control of flow section of slots. Chute is located at inclination of 5-12 deg. towards motion of material; it is made in form of hollow flat member having upper and lower walls. Upper wall is made from cermet which is permeable for gases and liquids and gaskets are laid over perimeter. Walls form hermetic reservoir which is connected by means of pipe lines with working agent source through liquid or gas flow control member. Device is provided with servo system for stabilization of weight of material on chute. Servo system includes weight setter showing weight of material on chute and gate valve motion sensor.

EFFECT: avoidance of jamming; enhanced stabilization.
