FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Rotary sorter comprises receiving tray (1) with rotary drum (4) fixed opposite its outlet part and two rubberized trays (7). Inlet parts of rubberized trays (7) are located under rotary drum (4). Rotary sorter additionally contains separator (3) attached to the outlet part of receiving tray (1). Sorter is also equipped with servo drive (6), the output shaft of which is conjugated with vertical axis (5) of rotary drum (4). Above the output part of receiving tray (1) there is video camera (9) and light source (8) installed in the area of the video camera and directed to sorted fruit (2). Contact weight sensor (11) is installed in the hole under the outlet part of receiving tray (1). Rotary sorter comprises control system (10), having direct connection to light source (8) and feedback to video camera (9), contact weight sensor (11) and servo drive (6).

EFFECT: enabling expansion of sorting equipment technological capabilities due to technical effect, which is expressed in automated sorting of spherical fruits into groups by density with high accuracy.
