PACKAGE FOR CIGARETTE PACKS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: packing means, particularly for cigarettes.

SUBSTANCE: package for cigarette packs arranged in rows has box-like blank enclosing cigarette packs by lower wall, narrow elongated side walls and end walls thereof so that cigarette packs are opened at least from top sides. Thus, substantial part of cigarette pack group is not covered with package. Cigarette packs are arranged so that front pack sides having the largest surface is in opened package part and not covered with package. Cigarette packs contained in above package are then coated with outer wrapper of transparent material, formed of cellophane or polymeric film.

EFFECT: improved ability of cigarette packs removal from package, reduced material consumption and possibility to observe package content.
