FIELD: measuring engineering.
SUBSTANCE: flow meter has housing made of two members, supplying and guiding nozzles, inlet port made in the baffle of the housing, flexible sensor, e.g., diaphragm, outlet branch pipe, converter of displacements of the flexible sensor into output signal, and body with positive changeable buoyancy rigidly connected to the sensor. The space between the nozzles is in communication with the under-diaphragm space of the housing. The body is made of a flexible material (e.g., rubber resistant to corrosive agents). The body is filled with a fluid which changes its phase condition (e.g., water) or air. The body changes its volume (variable buoyancy) depending on temperature of embient fluid.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements.
