FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: measuring transmitter for control and measurement of density of fluid media includes one pressure gauge - sensitive piezoresistive element which is placed in a special housing and divides inner cavity of transmitter into two parts at provision of structural equality of their volumes. At that, housing is attached to a plate. Transmitter also includes two permeators which are rigidly attached at the distance from each other throughout the height on reverse side of the plate and along it. At that, each permeator is made in the form of a housing with elastic membrane, and cavity under membrane of each of them is connected with rigidly attached tubes of fixed configuration. Besides lower and upper elastic membranes are interconnected through specially selected organosilicon fluid filling the cavities of the device. At that, pressure of column of measured fluid, which acts on elastic membranes of permeator, is transmitted through organosilicon fluid to rear and front sides of piezoresistive element, converted in proportional difference of those pressures and density of electric signal. Besides to the housing of primary transmitter there attached is electronics unit to the board of which there supplied is output difference signal to be converted to standard temperature-compensated output current signal. Also to the plate there attached is a hollow rod to retain the transmitter in vertical position when submerged into fluid medium.
EFFECT: simplifying the design and manufacturing procedure, improving reliability of density metre and accuracy of measurement results.
