FIELD: testing engineering.

SUBSTANCE: one end of the fiber is secured and the other end is loaded. The fiber guide is secured to the pillar mounted on the platform which reciprocates. The abrasive is introduced by submerging fiber into the bath filled with oil-abrasive or water-abrasive solution. The bath is mounted on the platform. The device comprises drive made of electric motor, reduction gear, crank mechanism, and fiber guides to be tested. In addition, the device has base, movable platform with a pillar provided with the fiber guide to be tested, and bath filled with oil-abrasive or water-abrasive solution and mounted on the platform. The base is provided with pillars for setting fiber.

EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of testing.
