SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials testing, in particular, to testing for resistance to abrasive wear when moving the article in an abrasive mass with non-rigidly fixed abrasive particles. Core: the test is conducted simultaneously under identical conditions (at any time), of sixteen experimental materials with different compositions, structures and properties, which are formed on a metal cylindrical base in four diametrically opposite sections of 4 compositions each, along the generatrix.

EFFECT: technical result is the search for the optimal composition by the criterion of abrasion resistance significantly reduced in time, with a high reliability of the results obtained.
