FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: analysed layer of abrasive particles is dynamically shocked. Once ultrasonic vibration excited in working medium, uniformly graded abrasive particles are suspended with executing vibrations between effective area of ultrasonic generator and analysed sample surface. The qualitative and quantitative estimation of wear resistance parameters rests on the analysis of analysed sample surface layer profile by recording profile chart with profilograph profilometer. Profile chart are recorded by microsection surface within strengthened (processed) layer, including initial (nonstrengthened) layer considered as a reference.
EFFECT: ensured reliable wear resistance with high-reproducible experimental data.
