FIELD: metallurgy, in particular method for deposition of heat-protective coating.

SUBSTANCE: coating is layered deposited on article using zirconium oxide stabilized with Y2O3. Coating is deposited from powder materials with predetermined porosity. Deposition is carried out by limited melting of depositing particles due to maintaining of desired temperature interval and controlling of their fusion degree. Present invention is useful in aerospace industry and machine building for manufacturing of parts with coat of predetermined porosity having high adhesion and cohesion.

EFFECT: protected metal with improved heat resistance due to increased insulation characteristic of low-conductivity coat.
