FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in compressors, pumps and continuous internal combustion engines. Proposed rotary-vane machine contains at least one annular cylindrical chamber, rotor with vanes eccentrically installed in chamber, vanes being fitted in longitudinal slots of rotor. Rotor divides chamber into two eccentric spaces of variable circumferential section with intake and exhaust ports. Rotor is made in form of end face plate provided with coaxial ring cylindrical projection with longitudinal cuts. Vanes are installed in cuts of projection, inserts are placed between vanes and end faces of projection cuts providing rocking and reciprocating of vanes relative to projection. End faces of vanes in contact with cylindrical walls of chamber are made with support area of surface.
EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability, capacity and efficiency.
