VALVE OF OIL PRODUCING SUBMERSIBLE PUMP Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: oil producing industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed valve of submersible pump has housing accommodating shutoff member with rod. Seat in housing is made in form of set of radially movable rings sealed by elastic elements. Seat surfaces of rings are displaced eccentrically relative to each other and are spring-loaded in axial direction. Shutoff member is loaded by spring and is provided with hydraulic brake on its rod.

EFFECT: improved reliability of valve owing to increased wear resistance of sealing elements of seat and reduced water hammers at moment of valve closing.
