SUCTION VALVE OF SUBMERSIBLE PUMP Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; oil producing industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed suction valve of submersible pump contains housing which accommodates shutoff member and seat. Shutoff member is made in form of plunger to form shutoff pair with seat surface. Valve seat is made up of set of radially movable seat rings installed in seat places and pressed relative to seat rings by elastic ring elements in radial diametrically opposite direction. Seats are displaced in pairs relative to each other in diametrically opposite direction. Rings are flexibly pressed in axial direction. Housing is installed in upper part of pump working cylinder. Intake holes are made in housing. Cylindrical branch pipe is installed stationary along axis of housing. Shutoff member is installed coaxially to cylindrical branch pipe and is spring-loaded relative to branch pipe in axial direction. Shutoff member is sealed relative to cylindrical branch pipe by means of set of sealing rings movable in radial direction and pressed in said direction by elastic rings whose seats are displaced in pairs relative to each other in diametrically opposite direction.

EFFECT: improved reliability and capacity, increased delivery at high gas-oil ratio.
