FIELD: convector-type heaters for heating rooms.

SUBSTANCE: proposed heater includes heat exchange components secured on heater forming air passages, air damper, casing and air duct where heater and air damper are mounted; upper wall of casing has many air exhaust holes located at definite pitch; casing has lower wall with holes located at definite pitch; damper is movably located on upper or lower wall of casing and is provided with many holes located in such way that they may be registered during motion of damper to one or other side with air exhaust holes of upper wall or air intake holes of lower wall; strips formed between holes of damper close air intake or air exhaust holes of casing during motion of damper. Axes of air exhaust holes of upper wall and axes of air intake holes of lower wall are located in vertical planes passing through axes of air passages formed by heat exchange components; heater of heat exchanger made from tubes is located across heat exchange components along casing. At least one damper is mounted in guides of upper wall or lower wall or in guides of lower wall of casing and is provided with mechanism for its motion.

EFFECT: improved functional properties of heater; simplified construction; reduced usage of materials and labor consumption.
