FIELD: wastewater treatment, in particular weak-contaminated wastewater containing fluorinated emulsifiers.
SUBSTANCE: method for recovery of fluorine-containing emulsifier from aqueous phase, containing additionally small amount of polymer particles, includes contacting water phase mixed with nonionic surfactant with anion exchanger. Nonionic surfactant concentration is adjusted between 30 ppm and lower concentration limit that makes it possible to avoid coagulation of polymer particles. Adsorbed emulsifier is recovered from anion exchanger. Non-aromatic substance (e.g., fat alcohol hydroxyethylate) is used as nonionic surfactant. Fine dispersed fluoropolymer may by quantitatively deposited in untreated aqueous phase or eluate by using flocculating agent.
EFFECT: stable working of ion-exchange column; more effective emulsifier recovering.
