FIELD: ceramic compositions based on oxides of alkali, rare-earth, and transition metals for fuel-cell oxygen electrode manufacture.
SUBSTANCE: material for oxygen electrode of fuel element using molten carbonate electrolyte that has perovskite-like structure whose electric conductivity at temperature of 923 K is over 100S/m incorporates oxides of lithium, transition metals , and additive. Used as additive is oxide of rare-earth element in following proportions according to formula: LnxLiwTyO3-δ, where Ln - La or mixture of primarily La and one or more lanthanides; T is transition metal of following series: Mn, Fe, Co, x = 0.8 - 1, y = 0.5 - 1, w = 0.01 - 0.7, w + x + y = 2, δ = 0 - 1.
EFFECT: enhanced stability of fuel cell using molten carbonate electrolyte under working conditions.
