FIELD: mixed-oxide active material, electrochemical-cell electrode, and method for its manufacture.
SUBSTANCE: proposed mixed-oxide active material is characterized in high electron conduction and empiric formula ABOy, where y≠3, A has at least one metal chosen from Na, K, Rb, Ca, Ba, La, Pr, Sr, Ce, Nb, Pb, Nd, Sm, and Cd and B has at least one metal chosen from group of Cu, Mg, Ti, V, Cr, Mn,Fe, Co, Nb, Mo, W, and Zr; A and B cannot be Nb at a time and SwrVO2.5 compound is ruled out This material can be of perofskite type in which y = 3 - δ, where δ≠0, δ values ranging between approximately -0.2 and approximately -0.05 or between approximately +0.05 and approximately +0.07. In addition, material of braunite-millerite type can be used for the purpose in which y = 2.5 - ξ and ξ value ranges between approximately -0.2 and approximately -0.05 or between approximately +0.05 and approximately +0.3. Proposed electrode for electrochemical cell can be manufactured from mentioned material. Method for manufacturing mixed-oxide electrode and electrochemical cell incorporating at least one mixed-oxide electrode of this type is given in description of invention.
EFFECT: reduced cost and enhanced electron conduction of proposed material and products using this material.
