FIELD: rubber industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of synthetic rubbers employed in manufacture of automobile tires, inner tubes, and general mechanical rubber goods, and can be used in petrochemical industry when isolating rubbers from solutions and dispersions. According to invention, synthetic rubbers are isolated from their solutions in low-boiling hydrocarbon solvents or from their dispersions using water degassing effected in two in series connected degassers. First (as regarded in downstream direction) degasser is operated at absolute pressure 0.14-0.69 MPa and the second at 0.94-0.10 MPa. The two degassers receive live steam and vapors stripped off the second degasser by means of steam jet ejector. Aqueous dispersion of rubber prepared in first degasser is subjected to separation and thus separated gas phase is withdrawn to be condensed together with degassing vapors from first degasser. After that, aqueous rubber dispersion is fed into second degasser to be subjected to final one- or two-step degassing. Degassing vapors stripped off the second degasser are condensed and non-condensed portion of vapors mainly composed of hydrocarbon vapors is fed into steam jet ejector. Degassed aqueous rubber dispersion is then subjected to expression of rubber from water followed by drying. Process allows specific consumption of water steam to be reduced by 0.3-0.5 Gcal/t rubber.

EFFECT: reduced water steam consumption, loss of hydrocarbons, and increased productivity of process.
