FIELD: heat exchange apparatus.
SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger has a drum mounted for rotation in a bearing. The drum is mounted for permitting the heat-liberating and heat-absorbing fluids to flow through the drum. The bearing is made of a combination of the mechanical bearing and magnetic bearing. The magnetic bearing is mounted from the face side of the open end of the drum. The mechanical bearing is formed by the central bearing. The active side of the drum is made of a multi-layer grid. The axle of the drum is mounted for movement inside a cone whose top lies in the central bearing. The central bearing is secured to the stator. The stator is provided with unmovable ring. The magnetic bearing is made of the permanent magnets. The magnetic bearing comprises the basic magnetic bearing, which is mounted in the top part of the stator, and the second magnetic bearing, which is mounted in the bottom part of the stator. The second magnetic bearing provides the magnetic moment directed oppositely to at least one component of the magnetic moment of the basic magnetic bearing and is used as a seal. The central bearing is secured to the transverse traverse, which is connected with two longitudinal traverses secured to the stator. The drum has means for setting its axial position, which can change due to adjusting sealing clearance. The central bearing is mounted for permitting axial movement. The heat exchanger is also provided with a compensating member. The compensating member is made of a plastic to provide movement of the central bearing with respect to the transverse traverse due to variations of the outer temperature.
