FIELD: geophysics.

SUBSTANCE: method includes generation of seismic waves by detonating explosive in underground formation. Explosive has first explosive and oxidized metallic substance. Seismic waves and/or their reflections are registered by seismic detectors. Geophysical reconnaissance systems include a source of seismic signals, containing first explosive and oxidized metallic substance. Source of seismic signals is placed in underground formation. Multiple seismic detectors are meant for recording seismic waves, generated during explosion of seismic signals source, and reflections of these waves. Also described is method for producing explosive compound.
