FIELD: seismic exploration using explosives.

SUBSTANCE: physical properties of surface or near-surface soil or rock are evaluated and investigated to determine response of such soil to characteristics and geometry of energy sources. Test model is produced for energy source and used to form distant seismic response field model. Seismic event is initiated to measure seismic data within seismic exploration region. Data measured are compared with distant seismic response field model. Differences may be estimated to enable modification of model. The latter can be tested on different seismic sources and at different dispositions.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency in evaluating parameters of sources for seismic wells in regions inaccessible for heavy equipment.
