FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to explosive compositions and can be used in ammunition for various purposes and in mining. The explosive composition contains, wt %: 20-60 blasting explosive - phlegmatised hexogene or octogene or trinitrotoluene or diaminodinitroethylene or mixture thereof, 5-35 inorganic oxidant - ammonium perchlorate or potassium perchlorate or ammonium nitrate or hydrazine nitrate, 10-40 metal fuel - aluminium or magnesium or alloy thereof or mixtures thereof and organic non-explosive fuel 1-20 urotropin or aminotetrazole or industrial oil or dibutyl phthalate or fluororubber or divinyl rubber or different combinations of said fuels.
EFFECT: high reactivity of non-explosive organic fuel at the detonation front and at early states of expansion of detonation products provides high degree of converting chemical potential of the composition into explosion energy and prevents the need to use additional massive detonators for initiation thereof, which provides high efficiency of ammunition and charges of different sizes, including small-sized.
