FIELD: machine engineering, namely elastic damping members allowing use vibration -proof insulator in any branch of technology.
SUBSTANCE: vibration-proof insulator is in the form of two detachable yokes rectangular in plan view and mutually joined by means of elastic members consisting multi-layer packs of band. Elastic members are in the form of two groups of multi-layer packs of helically twisted constant-width bands fastened in grooves of detachable yokes and inclined by angle α relative to horizontal plane of yokes.
EFFECT: stable elastic and damping properties of vibration-proof insulator, enhanced operational stability of insulator along three mutually normal axes.
