FIELD: chemical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: batcher comprises tank and pipeline connected with the tank through two pipes. The pipeline is made of an arc. One connecting pipe is in communication with the outer side of the arc, and the other connecting pipe is in communication with the inner side of the arc. When the fluid flows through the arc-shaped pipeline, the fluid undergoes the centrifugal force directed from the inner side of the arc to its outer side. Since one of the connecting pipes is in communication with the outer side of the arc, and the other connecting pipe is in communication with the inner side of the arc, a pressure drop occurs between the connecting pipes. The pressure drop depends on the flow rate of fluid in the pipeline and causes the reagent to flow from the tank to the pipeline through the connecting pipe, which is in communication with the inner side of the arc. The fluid enters the tank through the connecting pipe, which is in communication with the outer side of the arc, and displaces the reagent from the tank.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of batching.
