FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic control of gaseous medium flow rate and can be used in the process of odorizing natural gas, where proportional delivery of the odorant to the gas line is required at considerable gas flow rate fluctuations, including at low consumption. Odorant evaporator consists of a heat-insulated chamber communicating with a main gas line, in which an odorant supply pipe and an explosion-proof thermoelectric heating element are arranged, also in the thermally insulated chamber there is an evaporation channel, one end of which is connected to the supplying nozzle of the odorant, and the other end is located in the hole connecting the thermally insulated chamber and the gas line.
EFFECT: efficient mixing of odorant vapors in gas medium, uniform distribution of odorant in gas flow immediately after odorisation assembly.
