FIELD: the invention refers to means of batching.
SUBSTANCE: the invention may find application for example in systems of water treatment, in chemical and petrochemical industry and also at extraction and transportation of oil and gas. The invention is directed on creation of a simple and reliable construction of a batcher and at increasing of accuracy of batching of the reagent. The batcher for liquid reagents has a container for the reagent and an arrangement for taking-off of the dynamic head located in the main flow. The arrangement for taking off of the dynamic head is fulfilled in the shape of a ball with two openings located at an angle to each other and communicant with the container for the reagent by means of two connecting tubes. The ball is executed with possibility of turning around the axis perpendicular to the direction of the main flow and the axis of one the openings coincides with the axis of rotating of the ball. For calibrating of the consumption of the reagent the batcher may have additionally an arrangement located on one of the tubes between the container for the reagent and the arrangement for taking-off of dynamic head. At streamlining of the ball by the main flow between the two openings located at an angle to each other an overfall of pressure occurs. It is directly connected with the consumption of the medium in the main flow. At the expense of that overfall of pressure reagent out of the container with which the openings are communicant by means of two connecting tubes comes in the main flow through the opening with lesser pressure. Through the opening with greater pressure the medium comes from the main flow into the container and replaces the reagent in the container.
EFFECT: the invention increases the accuracy of batching the reagent.
