FIELD: testing engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises the loading member, which has base, columns, traverse, movable and unmovable compression plate, loading actuator, strain-gauge transducer, pickup of displacements of the plate, dynamometric unit, unit for control of loading and movements of the movable plate, and computer. The strain-gauge transducer is made of two plates. One of the plates is the bottom movable plate of the loading device. The strain-gauge transducers are connected with the dynamometric unit, which has three outputs: mean value of signals from the strain-gauge transducers, differences between the maximum and minimum values of the signals from the strain-gauge transducers, and total value of the signals from the strain-gauge transducers. Using the signals, the computer calculates the irregularity of the distribution of the loading over the surface of the specimen and compression strength limit from the formulae proposed.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of testing.
