FIELD: testing engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises loading unit which has base, columns, cross-pieces, loading actuator, electric strain-gauge transducer, passive and active clamps, pickup of deformation, pickup of position of active clamp, unit for measuring deformation, unit for control of loading or movement of the active clamp, and computer provided with a software for the calculation of mechanical characteristics of material from the results of the measurements of testing parameters. The deformation pickup is made of two strain-gauge transducers connected with the unit for measuring deformation which has two outputs.

EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of testing.
