FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, flax heap processing machines.

SUBSTANCE: raw heap separator has cylindrical drum with horizontal axis of rotation and whips fixed along spiral path on side surface, said drum and whips being housed within casing. Coiling angle of whips relative to cylindrical drum generatrix is reducing in direction of advancement of flax heap along cylindrical drum. Separator is further provided with plated deck, charging hopper with transporting apparatus and throwing device. Drum is embraced with plated deck. Deck has two similar halves secured in spaced apart relationship within separator casing. One of each pair of adjacent edges of deck halves is spring-loaded and other pair is pivotally disposed within casing so that direction of rotation of each half of deck coincides with direction of rotation of cylindrical drum.

EFFECT: improved quality of separation of raw flax heap.
