SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning machinery, particularly, to sweeping units mounted on vehicle or trailer. Proposed device has carrying frame 2 and cylindrical brush 1 installed for rotation around its longitudinal axle 3 being set into action by engine. Carrying frame 2 has support wheels 7, 8. Distance from support wheels to axle 3 of cylindrical brush 1 can be changed in vertical by means of adjusting unit with hydraulic actuating cylinder 5, 6 and control device 9. Feed cylinder 24 is hydraulically connected with actuating cylinder 5, 6. Piston of feed cylinder 24 or other signal generator is connected with counter and/or device Z for measurement of displacement, signal from which is fed to control device 9, or with mechanical servo drive and whose hydraulic working space 23, communicating with actuating cylinder, has cross section area smaller than that of actuating cylinder 5, 6.

EFFECT: provision of accurate setting of sweeping contact zone.
