FIELD: tobacco industry, in particular, controlling of tobacco process parameters.
SUBSTANCE: method involves grinding tobacco and extracting by means of boiling distilled water; preparing sample including 60 mg of tobacco and 260 ml of distilled water; measuring sample light transmission extent within wavelength range of 200-350 nm and calculating process parameters on the basis of equations cited in description.
EFFECT: reduced labor intensity due to possibility of determining all process parameters by single series of tests.
