FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: cigarette has a length and contains a tobacco rod containing tobacco, the density of which is equal to or more than 270 mg/cm3. The tobacco rod has a length equal to or less than 60% of the cigarette length; and the filter part having a length extending from the rod end adjacent the tobacco rod to the mouthpiece end configured for insertion into the mouth of the consumer. The filter part includes the first filter plug near the rod end, the second filter plug near the mouthpiece end and the supporting element arranged between the first and second filter plugs. The filter portion includes one or more cavities disposed between the first filter plug and the second filter plug, and comprising together about 25% or more of the filter part length. The filtering efficiency of the filter part is equal to or less than about 40% of the efficiency.
