FIELD: manufacture of parts of aluminum and its alloys by soldering, mainly radiators and heat exchangers.
SUBSTANCE: flux on base of alkali metal fluoaluminate is suitable for applying in dry state. Such flux has fraction size with predetermined total-volume distribution of particles by size and it does not include fine fraction. Such particle size distribution provides simple pneumatic transporting and applying of flux and also reliable sticking of it to part surface. Dry flux is applied in static electricity charged state onto joined parts to be soldered at heating.
EFFECT: simplified pneumatic transportation, reliable sticking of flux to part surfaces.
