FIELD: primary treatment of bast fiber fibers.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the primary treatment of bast fibers, mainly flax fibers and allows to increase an output of the lengthy fibers using stabilization of straining forces in locks of a fiber at scutching. The technical purpose of the invention is an increased output of the fibers and improvement of their quality at the expense of redistribution of the straining forces of a treated fiber in its length. The purpose in view is realized due to the fact, that in the section of the scutching machine for treatment of bast fibers containing a scutching barrel with placed along its circumference round beating rods fixed on a horizontal shaft with the help of the crossbars carrying under beating rods lattices. Each beating rod has a located on its rear side and rigidly fixed with it apron for delivery of the fibers to the rods of the adjacent barrel made on a circumference arc and having the width, which increases in a direction of a material movement along the barrel. According to the invention the shield is made in the form of staple, the section with the greatest length of which has a round cross-section, the length of circumference of which exceeds Δ - a maximum clearance between an internal edge of the staple and the rear side of the beating rod.

EFFECT: the invention ensures increase output of the longer fiber, improved its quality.
