PROTECTOR FOR WELL POWER CABLE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry.

SUBSTANCE: protector has body of sections, made with possible mutual connection at a well. Body is made with possible mounting at an end of tubing pipes column sleeve. Sections have inner channels for interaction with tubing string, groove for driving power cable and are made with extension at outer surface. Lower section at an end is made with circular recess, and upper - with matching circular groove. Groove for driving power cable is made open in extension at an angle to body axis. In side walls of open groove, in parallel to body axis, inner grooves are made for holding power cable.

EFFECT: higher manufacturability, simplified assemblage, higher reliability.
